Other forms: digital nomads
Someone who does their job remotely, traveling from place to place the whole time, is a digital nomad. If you aspire to be a digital nomad, you need to find work you can do on your laptop!
With the internet and wider availability of smaller computers, the term digital nomad came into use in the 1990s. These days, many people with white collar jobs can do them from home. What makes a digital nomad different is that they don't stay in one place, but roam around the world. A nomad is "a wanderer," from the Greek nomas, "roaming." The digital part refers to the technology they use to do their job.
